Not all of our patients live in Pakistan. Many are visiting family for a few weeks, and some fly in specifically to have their dental work done. If you are living abroad — part of the diaspora, or an international patient considering treatment here — this guide explains, honestly, how treatment works when you are only in the country for a limited time.
We treat overseas and visiting patients regularly, and the questions are always the same: Can it be finished during my visit? Can we start before I fly? What happens if something needs adjusting after I go home? Here are the real answers.
Why Patients Travel to Us
You have almost certainly already worked out that treatment here costs a fraction of what it does in the UK, US, or the Gulf — so we will not spend this page on price. What actually matters when you are travelling for treatment is whether you can trust the work, and whether the visit is handled properly. That is where we focus.
Specialist-led care. Dr. Abdullah is an FCPS-qualified prosthodontist who both places and restores dental work in-house. For implants especially, having the same specialist plan, place, and restore your case means continuity that is hard to get when the work is split between different providers.
Honest treatment planning. We don't sell the solution; we solve the problem. You will be told what you actually need — and what you don't — not what happens to be most profitable. If a more conservative option will serve you better, that is what we will recommend.
Modern protocols and clear communication. Digital smile design, CBCT-guided implant planning, and full English communication throughout, so nothing is lost in translation and you can see the plan before you commit.
How Treatment Works Around Your Travel
The single biggest worry for a visiting patient is time — fitting real treatment into a limited stay. Here is how we make that work.
1. We plan before you fly
Treatment starts with a remote consultation over WhatsApp or video, along with photos. From that, we prepare an assessment, a treatment plan, and a written estimate before you travel — so no time is wasted on arrival and your first day isn't spent just working out what's possible.
2. We are honest about what fits your window
Not everything can be rushed, and we will tell you so plainly. Most veneer cases fit comfortably in a 10–14 day visit; aligners can be started on your visit and continued from home; implants are staged and, depending on the case, may suit one trip or two. We would rather set the right expectation than promise a timeline that compromises the result.
3. We finish before you fly home
We complete and meticulously adjust your treatment well before your departure date, deliberately leaving a follow-up window during your stay so any final refinements can be made while you are still here.
4. We support you after you return
Once you are home, we stay reachable for guidance — and we have trusted colleagues in the US and UK who can step in for an emergency adjustment in a pinch. You are not on your own after you leave.
Flagship Treatments for Visiting Patients
Dental Implants
From a single missing tooth to full-arch rehabilitation, implants are one of the most common reasons patients plan a treatment trip. Because Dr. Abdullah both places and restores implants in-house, your case is planned end-to-end by one specialist. Timelines are staged around healing, so we plan carefully around your travel — some cases suit a single visit with immediate loading, others are best split across two trips. We also frequently restore or revise implants originally placed abroad. Read more about dental implants →
E.max Veneers
Veneers are highly travel-friendly: most cases are completed within a 10–14 day visit. A very common request from visiting patients is replacing older, unnatural-looking veneers — often zirconia — with natural, lifelike E.max. As a prosthodontist, Dr. Abdullah builds veneers to be functionally esthetic: beautiful, and made to fit your bite so nothing breaks in everyday function. Read more about veneers →
Clear Aligners — Our Most Travel-Friendly Option
Clear aligners are ideal for overseas patients, because treatment does not depend on you staying in the country. We scan, plan, and start your treatment during your visit — then monitor your progress remotely with photo check-ins and ship new or corrective aligners to you anywhere in the world. You finish your treatment from home, without needing to return. Read more about clear aligners →
Smile Makeover
Many visiting patients want a complete transformation rather than a single treatment. A smile makeover combines the above — whitening, veneers, and alignment — into one coordinated plan, designed digitally first so you can preview the result before anything begins. Read more about smile makeovers →
